Constantine (1*): 1 foot
Daylight is struggling to settle over the bays this morning, the air breathless and the surf tiny.
Barely a foot of satin smooth and silky little waves are snapping at the shore, just about rideable but it will be a struggle on anything less than the longest board.
And it’s likely to get smaller too!
Harlyn (0*): Flat
Harlyn is all peace and tranquility this morning with no surf but a smooth sea and no wind at all.
It’s a good place to sit a minute though and just take in the birdsong and silence!
Today’s Tide Times:
Low Tide: 15:59 (1.6m) High Tide: 09.33 (6.8m)
Surf Forecast for Tuesday 24th September 2024
It’s likely to be all but flat today, flat and choppy! Well, flat, choppy and chilly to be accurate.
So, what else is there to do?
You could pop in to visit us and maybe invest in a brand new longboard for only £500, or that new wetsuit you have been promising yourself for how long!
Or there’s always the daytime telly option………
Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week
We’re in for another ‘mixed’ week of weather but with very little in the way of surf, chillier air temperatures and plenty of wetness – such a difference from last week!
A low pressure system will bounce straight over the country, bringing the usual wild winds and plenty of rain.
Bigger waves will lump into our bays through midweek, the sou’ westerly winds forecast for Wednesday afternoon maybe allowing a couple of waves to shine through at Harlyn? That is only a ‘maybe’ though.
And then it’s a return to those dreaded north westerly winds for the rest of the week, of no use to surfing man nor beast.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
