Constantine (4*): 4 to 6 feet
The air is still this morning allowing booming barrels of six foot waves to echo around the bays as they explode onto the low tide sandbars.
It’s one of those magical winter surf days with slightly overhead sets of waves peeling all glassy and hollow in whichever direction you want to go. So just pick your favourite board, wax it up and enjoy. But make sure your wetsuit is good to go, this overcast morning is chilly, chilly, chilly!
Harlyn (2*): 2 to 3 feet
The waves at Harlyn are a bit of a disappointment compared to the other side on this grey but still morning with only a couple to three feet of glassy but shapeless waves tumbling ashore as low tide approaches.
Give it a few hours though and we should see a bit more oomph to it all as the tide pushes those bigger, more solid groundswells our way.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 14th December 2024
The wind is forecast to swing onshore today, a light nor’ westerly to lump and bump the leftover swell from yesterday but not adding anything to that fading swell.
Our best bets will be those more northerly facing breaks but there are few of those about that will pick up the two or three feet of short fetch swell.
Still, there should be waves and the water is still mild enough, so it could be a bit of fun with the right board and the right bunch of friends.
Surf Conditions for the Weekend
Onshore breezes will disappoint us this weekend after those beautiful, still conditions of Friday. The swell is likely to drop quite a bit as well, but the breeze shouldn’t be too strong onshore and there should be a fun enough couple to three feet or so of surf, so it should still be worth a paddle about. Unless of course you would prefer to hit the shop trail and shop-till-you-drop?
And if so, you could just try shopping small – Oh! I think that we might just fit that description! – if you want to have a fun surf and keep your loved ones on side too!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
