Constantine (3*): 4 feet
A light offshore breeze is prettying up the pumping four foot swell this morning, a grey and dull, milder but still cold kind of morning not yet tempting anybody out.
The water temperature is about 10 to 11 deg C so if you have a decent wetsuit (and we are open 10 till 4 Saturday and Sunday with a few monstrous wetsuit bargains to be had to keep you warm and toasty!) it’s all looking good!
Check below for this weekend’s forecast on our fabulously revamped website!:
Harlyn (2*): 2 feet
A foot or two of sheet glass crunchers are snapping at the low tide sand at a damp and deserted Harlyn Bay this morning, the heavy downfalls of early morning settling to a tedious drizzle for now.
The surf is pumping over the other side today but there are little waves to play in here today too.
Today’s Tide Times:
Low Tide: 08:12 (2.3m) High Tide: 14:10 (6.3m)
Surf Forecast for Saturday 11th January 2025
And the beat goes on:…..
We can expect some whomping waves today, 8 to 10 feet of sheet glass solidness nicely groomed by continuing south easterly breezes whistling offshore.
Get the big boards out, you’re going to need the speed!
Surf Conditions for the Weekend
A fabulous weekend of thumping surf and kind, offshore breezes are expected with big waves forecast to pummel our breaks on Saturday, becoming a little more manageable for mere mortals by Sunday.
That cold offshore wind might blow a little too strongly through Saturday afternoon and those waves might be a little too powerful for some but the trek over to Harlyn should make things easier, or one of the more rolling breaks like Watergate or the ever popular Polzeath.
By Sunday both the waves and the wind should have eased a little. We’ll still be enjoying pumping conditions but perhaps without the elevator drops and with less of a blow.
It is likely to be grey to start but there’s a big chance of some loverly sunshine to break through by Sunday.
Yep, it’s promising to be one of ‘those’ weekends this weekend!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
