Constantine (2*):  1 to 2 feet

The breeze is light so far on this Autumn feeling day, the sky a blanket of pale grey but ribboned with narrow streaks of blue while a couple of feet or so of weak but maybe fun looking surf tumbles onto the beach.
The breeze is forecast to strengthen later and swing south westerly which might just push some more waves our way. But I doubt whether they’ll be enough to excite Harlyn.

Harlyn (0*):  0 to 1 foot

Harlyn is calm and peaceful again this morning, a smooth sea of flatness washing against the sand.
It may all come alive a little more this afternoon as a south westerly breeze strengthens but it’s still unlikely to be more than barely surfable.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:   17:59  (2.8m)                High Tide:    11:18  (5.8m)

Surf Forecast for Thursday 26th September 2024

North westerly winds will be irritating us to start the day but is likely to weaken in strength and might even swing to the south east by lunchtime. That is offshore and, although the swell is likely to be only left-over weak windswell, that offshore breeze could just pretty it all up to be something a little better than expected.
And with signs of a new little swell arriving at the same time we could just have ourselves some fun little waves to surf during mid-afternoon!
Maybe.

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

We’re in for another ‘mixed’ week of weather but with very little in the way of surf, chillier air temperatures and plenty of wetness – such a difference from last week!
A low pressure system will bounce straight over the country, bringing the usual wild winds and plenty of rain.
Bigger waves will lump into our bays through midweek, the sou’ westerly winds forecast for Wednesday afternoon maybe allowing a couple of waves to shine through at Harlyn, the south easterly breeze forecast for Thursday maybe shaping a few nice little peelers through the afternoon?
That is definitely only a ‘maybe’ though.
And then it’s a return to those dreaded north westerly winds for the rest of the week, of no use to surfing man nor beast.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
