Constantine (2*):  2 to 3 feet

The wind and rain have returned, a gusting sou’ wester blowing in four feet and bigger of unruly swell beneath the fug of low grey clouds emptying themselves over the bay.
It’s just a lumpy and bumpy mess of difficult looking surf out there today, let’s have a look at Harlyn……….

Harlyn (2*):  1 to 2 feet

It’s quieter over at Harlyn this morning, a foot or two of sharp and snappy surf whip-cracking onto the hardened sand of a rain lashed and wind smoothed bay.
We should see an improvement on this morning’s incoming tide, the wind easing in strength this afternoon just as a new swell is expected to arrive.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:   09:01  (2.3m)                High Tide:    14:58  (6.4m)

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 24th October 2024

Light onshore breezes of the morning should soon change to light side shore and then offshore breezes through the afternoon and into the evening, allowing the fun three foot and bigger swell to carry some shape into the bays.
It could just be a very enjoyable day of surfing later on today!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

The school 1/2 term holidaymakers should expect a very fun week of mostly decent weather with pleasant, enjoyable surf.
Starting off with those regular holiday conditions of wind and rain, conditions should soon change as the wind eases offshore, the rain clouds shuffle off to irritate others and a very decent little three foot swell starts to break into our bays an coves.
With a mainly offshore breeze drifting into that swell we should be enjoying some smooth and very surfable waves, only gradually easing in size through the week.
Watch the tides to get the best out of it and maybe make sure you have some sunblock to hand as well – it could get brighter once the rain clouds have passed!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
