‘Start the Week’ Surf Report

Constantine (3*):  2 feet

A foot or two of smooth and peaking swell is gliding through the high tide depths of Constantine this morning, the sky still grey with that trapped low level cloud but the air mild.
It’s a proper, still Autumn day with small but excellent little waves to cruise on, so go grab something longer!

Harlyn (1*):  0 to 1 foot

Try little waves are silently spilling onto the high tide sand at Harlyn this morning, the air still and silent the odd early morning swimmer strolling rather than rushing.
It’s all very pleasant but the surf is all over the other side again today.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:   12:55  (1.5m)                High Tide:    18:46 (6.9m)

Surf Forecast for Bonfire Night, Tuesday 5th November 2024

Small waves will continue to glide our way today with light offshore breezes helping to make the best out of every inch of them.
Onshore sea breezes will probably kick in through lunchtime, but again they should be light enough to let those little waves keep some shape.
It looks like it’s going to be another fun day on a longboard!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

High pressure is still clinging to the country to continue providing these calm conditions with only light breezes.
Although there are a mix of little fronts out in the Atlantic, we’re not expecting a load of swell from any of them. The most size we can expect in this week’s surf is probably going to show through the back half of the week but even then it’s likely to be no more than three or four feet.
But the winds should continue to be no more than light, the tides should help push a bit of extra oomph into those waves, oh and the beaches have emptied out following the end of the school holidays.
The weather is unlikely to be as good as it might be, a lot of low level cloud is trapped beneath this pressure system offering a fairly gloomy skyline. That could change though and we should see a little glimpse of sunshine here and there at least!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
