Constantine (2*):  1 to 2 feet

at 6.25 a.m. on Monday 2nd September 2024:

The bays are snuggled beneath a grey and cloud-heavy sky this morning, the muggy air absolutely still as a foot or two of smooth, peaky surf glides through the silken sea.
Those waves look small right now but very pretty, the high tide maybe absorbing some size, promising a bit better for later?
Don’t leave it too late though, onshore breezes will be back this afternoon!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The sea is silken smooth at Harlyn this morning, birdsong echoing across the bay in the stillness.
There are no waves to ride here today but that doesn’t take away from the sheer beauty of this early September morning at Harlyn.

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:   12:21  (1.4m)                High Tide:    18:16  (7.0m)

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 3rd September 2024

Onshore breezes are going to be plaguing us today, a light but irritating blow from the north west, keeping temperatures down while crumbling and tumbling three to four feet of surf.
We should enjoy some brightness though.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

We’ll be enjoying a bit of mixed weather and surf this week with onshore, north westerly breezes irritating the surf through the first half of the week, switching offshore maybe through the back half.
Unfortunately the surf will be bigger during the first half, dropping through the second half.
That is all a very definite ‘maybe’, based on the possibility of the jet stream operating in one way – It could very easily go the opposite way if only slight changes occur!
But I reckon that we will still have clean, offshore breezes cleaning up the small, one to two feet of surf through the back half of the week and we will still have to suffer choppy conditions for the start!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
