Constantine (4*): 4 to 5 feet
Thick and peaking, peeling swells are unfolding into the bay beneath more grey skies this morning, that lighter offshore breeze helping shape and fold those pumping swells.
It’s good today, really, really good!
Harlyn (2*): 1 to 2 feet
The waves look to be smaller than you’d expect at Harlyn this morning, with a couple of feet or so at best of hesitant little waves weakly tipping into the bay.
After looking at the other side you’d expect something bigger and more solid so I’m guessing that the tide is playing a part, there may just be a bit of a lull right now. Anyway, the surf is tiny but, as usual the beach is still pleasant and relaxing.
And if the other side doesn’t appeal then that surf could improve a little here too.
Today’s Tide Times:
Low Tide: 15:44 (2.5m) High Tide: 09:09 (6.1m)
Surf Forecast for Saturday 9th November 2024
Light offshores and smaller but still fun and clean surf should keep any weekend drifters happy!
We can expect a good couple to three feet of smooth and peeling little waves, maybe easing a little in size as the day goes on but still offering a longboard cruise or a phat fish hop-along!
We probably won’t see too much sunshine but I think most of us are happy to trade some smooth, peeling waves for that.
Surf Conditions for the Weekend.
As high pressure continues to cling to our coastline, light breezes carry on grooming any waves that slide into the bays.
We are likely to see a weakening couple to three feet of prettily shaped surf throughout Saturday, starting out in the decent there foot range but dropping to only a foot or two as the day goes on.
But with the right board and at the right spot at the right tine I don’t think we’ll hear any complaints today.
That cloud is likely to remain trapped beneath the high pressure system even as those weather systems out in the Atlantic try and pull some of it with them. A new swell will show itself through Sunday, the breeze barely a whisper, fluttering offshore, just keeping those three to four foot waves in shape.
It is looking like an ideal weekend to enjoy the cruisier side of surfing, those waves not being big or anything but certainly providing a whole lot of fun!
And don’t forget – if you are around why not drop in on us, we have just taken delivery of a whole lot of new Winter Vissla clothing and accessories and are just putting a whole bunch of DaKine and Wetty wetsuits as well as ALL of our surfboards on a SUPER CLEARANCE SALE!!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
